What Happens if a Material Change Occurs During the Commitment Period?
The commitment period refers to the timeframe during which investors pledge funds for a particular property. If a material change arises during this stage:
- Notification to Committed Investors:
- WeProperties will promptly disclose the material change on its platform, detailing its nature and potential impact on the property's performance or value.
- Reconfirmation of Commitment:
- Investors who have committed to the property will be notified and asked to reconfirm their commitment within five (5) business days.
- Reconfirmation ensures that investors proceed with full awareness of the change.
- If an investor does not reconfirm their commitment within the given timeframe, their investment pledge will be automatically cancelled and the committed funds will be refunded in full to the investor's WeProperties Account (Wallet), with no deductions or penalties.
